NuxFan09
The Wolves are trying to pass too much instead of getting as many shots on net as they can. They're looking for the fancy play and need to simplify.
NuxFan09
Desbiens doing some nice work at both ends here. He cycled the puck and worked along the boards well to keep the play in the offensive zone and at the other end blocked a shot to prevent a good scoring chance. PP coming up for the Wolves as Peoria takes a high sticking penalty. PP unit: Sweatt - Gordon - Rodin Haydar - Hunt
NuxFan09
2nd unit on now. Archibald - Davies - Kattelus Matheson - Connauton
NuxFan09
Coach Arniel has changed up the 1st line, putting Sweatt on the LW with Gordon and Haydar, and it seems to be working as they're getting a lot of chances.
NuxFan09
Cannata makes a clutch save on McRae, who was all alone on a breakaway. Penalty to Brad Hunt though. PP for the Rivermen. That may be all she wrote.
NuxFan09
Shorthanded break for Desbiens but Allen makes the glove save! Wow, what a chance for Desbiens, who is having himself quite the game.
NuxFan09
The Wolves successfully kill the Peoria PP but there's only minute left in the game. Cannata is now on the bench for the extra attacker and Peoria takes a penalty so as a result, the Wolves now have a 6 on 4 opportunity.
NuxFan09
The Wolves can't do anything with the two extra men and that's the game. Jake Allen with his 2nd shutout of the season for Peoria.
