Hey OP,

2 consecutive Presidents trophies and a trip to the Stanley cup final. Gillis just locked up Edler with the "home team discount" like many of our other top players have and 2 games into the season you're unhappy with the team? The Canucks manage the cap quite well IMO and the team is in contention again for the cup based on the depth we have. Our only concern is youth but it's be expected when you draft at the bottom by virtue of being a TOP TEAM IN THE LEAGUE... fool!

I'm not sure about AV, but I hear Gillis has been doing a series of kegel exercises to help him last longer.

Hahahahahaa kegels....

How long can AV & Gillis last ? Do you think the Canucks have enough talent and grit? I think their days are numbered. Both the coach and GM have been along term disappointment. Granted at times they got this team rolling along, but the team is not talented enough or tough enough to go far in the playoffs. The building still sells out so they think they are fine. The coach has not delivered and seems lost unable to make the right decisions. The manager is content it seems but how long can they stick with basically the same group. An injury or two and the team is hooped. What worse is it seems like AV is not on the same page as the team.

OK. We are two games into the season with only a week worth of training camp and no preseason games to evaluate the team.
What would you like to go back to the 70's and 80's when we only had two season of finishing over .500 ?
Or would you like a team that missed the playoffs 5 years in a roll on the mid 90's and Early 200o's?
Really you think this management team is content with what they have? Would you like Burke or Nonis back who were content with winning a Division was good enough. You don't think MG dIdn't made a hard pitch for Justin Schulz,Praise,Suter or Shane Doan? And if MG make a hard pitch and got the players you want you'll be complaining about the Cap in the long term. If the GM or coaching job is so easy then why don't you apply for the job!
So how do you know that mg is content with what he has? Would you like to put a gun to the players head and force him to come here. You know for sure that Av has lost the team ? Based on what? Were you in the dressing room or heard it from a couple players yourself? Remember every team is in the same boat about the injury bug at this stage into the season. You don't think Gillis and AV Know that.

As long as this team, and not just the players, is doing everything (well nearly everything) us loyal fans want. Two Presidents, lovely, but "Please, Pretty Please," another real shot at the big one this year. That is all a real fan asks for.

Go Canucks Go
Go CANUCKS Go.

The bigger question is how long will you last. There should be some sort of a delete button for bone heads. You might as well be part of the media which start things just to keep their job...really discusting
