oldnews
Tambellini can play both wings. The fact that we have Weise as a third line winger shows that we don't have as much depth at wing as we thought. Tambellini has shown that he can play as a top 6 in short stints, Ebbett hasn't. That's why he would be much more valuable to us right now. Plus his ability in the shootout could end up winning us some games down the road. MJDDawg
Yea, thanks could had used you earlier. Even if Toronto did make Gardiner available in a possible Luongo deal, we wouldn't necessarily need another LH D-man. I mean Ballard could of course be moved or bought out, but making Gardiner the centre piece while we are lacking in secondary scoring becomes counter intuitive. Anyways, I already wrote a lengthy post on why a TOR deal wouldn't work. Might as well continue the WAS speculation.
MJDDawg
But word is Neuvirth has been solid tonight, just because a team is losing it doesn't mean it's the goalie's fault. That's how we got in this situation to begin with! KatieStrangESPN #NJD Really good period so far for Michal Neuvirth. Guess Oates made the right decision in going back to him tonight And you can't fault him for the 2-0 goal when it's on a 5 on 3: KatieStrangESPN #NJD Devils convert on the 5-on-3 to make it 2-0. BuretoMogilny
That's a little unfair to weise. He's earned every bit of ice time he's getting now. I don't see tambellini stealing his spot on the third if weise is playing the way he is. Weise seriously needs to work on his shot though
Cucumber
There are lot of rumors of Lu to tor, for, nyi, was, sjs, ect but how about New Jersey with brodur(i know spell it wrong) over 40 with hedburg
The Bookie
I don't mind Weise getting a longer look on the 3rd. There was a time when most thought Hansen would never make it past the 4th.

Get real canuck fans
Caps lose in ot,,,Lindback GAA will be around 4 after tonight(4 goals after 2 periods after allowing 7 in his 2 previous games) and Isles Dipietro allowed 4 tonight Thinking the Caps, Isles and Tampa are the most likely destinations for Lu. eretz canucks
neuvirth or whatever his name is from the capitals had a great game which is fine and everything, but he had a rough game before and if the caps do not go out and get a good goaltender that is the way it is going to be for them- some nights good goaltending, some nights not so much and if they lose when their goaltender plays well, then they have waisted one of precious few times their goaltender will give them a chance to win. vcr1970
how about this = Scrivens, Kulemin & Kessel for Lu + the Nucks retain 50% of Lu's contract to lighten the cap hit!!!..........

THERETOOL
every game we win lessons the pressure on us to have to make a move .. cory has instilled confidence in his team , while wash , t.o , and florida are struggling ... it only means good things for us .. sampy
agree....we dont need gardiner we need a hard nosed stay at home d man (if we're talking d, and that isn't even a big priority bc we have Vandermeer in the minors) we need a center for the 3rd line who can sub as a number 2 and a top knotch offensive prospect coming back not sure why people keep suggesting trading our depth to not fill a hole but just create more of a problem? trade lou for some young goalie how about that? same logic lol....grey matter...use it

MJDDawg
I don't know, if you're exaggerating, or if you're not really paying attention to Schneider and Luongo in net.
