Cool story bro, but please elaborate.

Hodgson: 2 goals in 2GP
Kassian: 2 goals in 3GP

How is Kasian > Hodgson?

Hodgson: 0 fights; 0 hits
Kassian: Knocked Ben Eager into next week; 7 hits

Plus, Hodgson played almost 40 minutes total in those two games... Kassian played 44 minutes in total over 3 games. They are producing at about the same rate for their ice time.

Enough said.

How can you hate on this guy?

Love it.

Kassian is the next heart and sould kind of player we want.

And oh such silky smooth hands to go along with that fine cut beard and toothless awesomeness.

Jensen - Schroeder - Kassian

WCE v2.0

Meh... Schroeder.

I am still hoping for Jensen-Bjugstad-Kassian. If they panned out, they would deserve their own new name and not 2.0 anything.

Zack is tough to play against and I like that. Add a healthy Kesler to that mix too.

He's the only one on the entire Canucks team I've seen to show some emotion after scoring a goal. I understand it's only the 3rd game of the season but this one was a big game to win, we need more emotional players on our team to balance the Sedins.

How is Kasian > Hodgson? There is not enough data to back up your hypothesis. Come back in a few months before pre-ejaculating.

Just to let you know one of Hodgsons goal was off his skate and I'm not to sure about the other one but I heard that one bounced off his head or something like that. Also what about the shootout goal, the concussion he gave to Eager and his physicality?

Really!!! You know that Cody's 2 goals have gone 1 off his foot and one off his hip!! (check it) We won't even get to hits, and fights. It may well be different by mid season but right now there's no doubt who is more valuable to his team.

watta ya mean CoHo don't punch peoples heads into next month.... and score goals. CoHo can not hold on to the puck like Kass can. did you watch the gamn.....Kass is a stud he is stepping up and doing more then was expected of him.
can't wait to see this kid in 2-3 years. But i do hope he can keep it up and be consistent ...

Did you just change the font? :picard:

Let alone it being the worst font ever. Comic Sans MS...

The key difference is that Sopel can fill in for Seabrook and Campbell just fine. Bieksa, he is garbage so in that sense he is like the worst defenseman in the league.

When Cody (Hodgson) gets older, he might be better than Datsyuk.

Let's not push this guy (Kassian). He's still immature, and if he fails on the 2nd line it's because he isn't ready. Some guys really need years to develop, it's how well and how fast players adapt to the game. In my opinion, I'd rather have Horvat getting 2nd line minutes. He will start off on the 3rd line next season but I see him making the transition, being a great compliment to whoever plays his wings.

At this point, I don't see Kassian fitting in to any role other than a 3rd. If players like Kassian start getting 2nd line minutes then we just stay inconsistent as a team.

The idiocy on CDC....

I definitely noticed this tonight, as well as Kassian hitting guys on the half boards and creating a ton of open ice for the Sedins between the hash marks.

He is a piece we have been missing. Sedins do have more open ice with him on their line. They also did seem more physical.

My God who cares if Kassian > Hodgson or Hodgson > Kassian. I love Hodgson and I'm still sad that he's gone but get over it. Kassian plays with the Sedins. Hodgson's centering Vanek and Pominville. Their both playing with great linemates. Their both starting off the season great. Just shut up, watch hockey, and thank the lord that hockey is back. I still have doubts and concerns about Kassian mainly because I'm biased about Hodgson but I'm liking what Kassian is bringing to the team and that's important.

Certainly going to be our #1 defensemen. Give him a couple more years to improve his game and he'll be our new and improved version of Matthias Ohlund in no time
