They talked about renegotiating his contract but only had 48 hours to do that or work a trade. The trade happened as a result, and he's rumoured to be getting $170K with bonuses available up to $200K with the Riders. Geroy will always be a Lion, his best days came in this city, a class act, this is a sad day as a Vancouver sports fans, up there with Linden,Naslund, and Bertuzzi leaving, and soon Roberto Luongo.
