Do the Canucks really need another center?

So whats the right move to make with luongo?
If you ask me by the way I would say tyler biggs, gunnerson and a goalie from toronto.

I would cream my pants if we managed to pry Couturier out of Philly. But the goal should be to get somebody similar.

One day some of us will look back on the year and look at the chicago, and most of us will realize that it was a small bump in the road to the cup

QUOTE (bugmo @ Jul 23 2009, 12:09 AM) And you are an idiot who can't see things for the way they are. It's people like you who make it seem okay for the canucks to have a non playoff making team every year. Gillis supporter go jump off the Patullo.
This was said to me and it makes me laugh everytime I read it.

But you can never have too much depth down the middle.

You literally have a hockey IQ of zero if you don't see what Hansen brings to the table. While he is "failing and failing" on his scoring chances... guess what?... the other team is failing and failing at scoring on the Canucks.
I thought Burrows looked really good at center and made that line relevant bc Hansen and Higgins have invisible for the first 3 games. Hansen has piled up fail upon fail when it comes to scoring chances- move him with Luongo for a guy like couturier failing that, simmonds
Yah package him up with Luongo - For what? Already the Canucks are going to probably get hosed in a trade involving Luongo and most likely the other team is going to win the trade because of stupid media hype but you want to gift them Hansen too? Get real and start watching hockey instead of basing all of a player's value on stats.

Things change quickly.
Right now the Canuck lack good young prospects. As has been much discussed there were no Canuck prospects at world juniors this year. And if we look at the Wolves, most of their production is from career AHL players.
If the Canucks can trade Lu for two good young players at any positions that would be a good move -- maybe one who play right away and maybe one who is a year away.

The best thing about adding Bozak is that he adds an offensive dimension to the third line that the Canucks really need to win a Cup. Even pre-eye injury Malhotra did not add enough offense to make the 3rd line really dangerous, like Stoll did for the Kings. Bozak is at least a legit 40+ point centre that is also more than capable on the 2nd PP unit. I imagine him and Higgins and Hansen would combine to make a very good 3rd line.
