Actually no, Raymond scored 25 goals, then had an absolute garbage year in which he destroyed his back at the end of.

Nice try though.

He had an off year because he broke his thumb came back too soon and injured his shoulder. Went to the playoffs and broke his back on a bad hit.

Nice try, though.

Shrikov 6th rounder, Raymond 2nd rounder playing on our 2nd line, Schroeder to young to call a bust.

Rahimi, White, Ellington and who could forget Marc Andre Bernier. All 1st/2nd rounders over 6'1". Big guys; bigger busts.

Other teams have been drafting big guys like Steve Bernier and Taylor Pyatt in the 1st round for years. Hardly a sure thing for top line success.

The funny thing is, he complains about smaller players and then goes on to list a bunch of them who have had success in the NHL...

He also calls Schroeder a bust before his career has even gotten started, but forgets (or didn't know) that one of his examples, Martin St. Louis was never even drafted and then wasn't considered worth keeping by the Calgary Flames...

Pretty much a brutal OP all around....

Orland Kurtenbach and Dennis Kearns had just been torched 8-1 by the Habs, but they still took time to come out to meet us, some fellow BC boys who were playing hockey in Montreal. THAT"S what being a Canuck is!

Bure was tough as nails for his style of play; remember that elbow?

I also loved watching Ronning and was sad to see him leave. BMo kind of reminded me of him a little. Guy could play in any situation with any players and not be a liability. Huge heart and a Vancouver native.

It's far too early to call Schroeder a bust.
