"Zack" works just fine. If you get something too long. or overly complicated it won'y be long before pretty much everyone gets fed up with it and goes back to calling him Zack.

Also, I'm not a big fan of cute nick-names, except for when Kate Upton calls me "Snookums".

Wish she would call me that :(

All I ever get from her is "guy with the gigantic wiener"

She calls me daddy. I don't know how to feel about that.

Not really news. Lots of NHL'ers do MMA training in the off season.

Bieksa has been doing it for some time as well.

Gillis dis say he wants to get a lot more players doing this as he's really pleased with the results.

Sedins next?

Kris Letang was training with GSP and Rory Macdonald at team tristars camp in Montreal.

He was even on UFC primetime.

Dude is certainly some kind of squatch

The real scary thing is he's just a baby quatch right now. Wait till he's a mature 9 footer.
Nobody beats our Canucks' meat !

I don't typically make New Year's Resolutions, but the one thing I want to accomplish in 2012, aka the year of the MILK HOT DOG, is to ARREST SOMEONE. - Kevin WOLVERINE Bieksa (BEE-ecks-ah)

It's just one fight. No need to wet your collective knickers.

It is good that he has that capability and it will give the Twins a bit of security knowing there is someone who will brace the opposition bad boys but I'd rather he concentrates on the "game" he showed us and give it some consistency.

If Eager can be concussed, so can Kass. So let's save his fisticuffs for "Keith and Marchand moments"

I wish the Sedins would do it too. I Imagine them standing up to someone and showing the team that they are not going to take it anymore in the thick of the playoffs. That would be the turning point right there.

I wonder if all the players training in MMA in the off season is the reason for all the takedowns in fights? Before when a guy wanted to end a fight, he'd just cling on and wait for the linesmen to come in. Now, it seems more and more fights end when one guy tries to suplex the other guy to the ice... that is going to cause more injuries than the fights themselves.
