Interesting fact of the shortened season: teams that lead through the second period are 34-1-4. Minus LA, who are 0-1-1 after leading 2, the rest of the league is 34-0-3. Leading after 1 is still significant at 25-5-3.
Guess not a lot of guys have the ability to do much in the 3rd, whether due to lack of camp, conditioning or chemistry.
I think that stat is pretty consistent with most years, although I'm not sure.
I know the Canucks have been awseome the last couple of years after the second when leading. Teams that get leads nowadays know how to keep them.
