Did anyone catch the end of the Oilers/Kings game? Wow. Whatta finish by the young oilers. I love the Canucks and I've always hated the Oil, but I gotta say that that was some of the best hockey I have seen in a LOOONNNNGGGG time. Even the SCF didn't compare. The crowd was going absolute nuts when Yak tied it up. I just wish we could bring that kind of emotion to our game and bring the fans in it as we'll.

Good game to the oil, a much deserved win.

This Sharks/Yotes game is pretty good too, Havlat scored late to tie it, not quite as dramatic but the place has some good energy going, it's a good atmosphere and this game is entertaining.

But yeah that was great, I even felt for them when that goal was disallowed, and those are the exciting dramatics you want to see as a fan.

Edmonton has great, passionate fans. Now im not bashing canucks fans at games but we really need to make some noise... Im tired of seeing fans who are on their phones the whole time. Defeats the purpose of going to the game.

Yea I've been taking advantage of free center ice while it lasts and I gotta say, most of these games are a lot more exciting than ours.

Family friend of mine went to an Oilers playoff game in '06...said they put on a big show, with the oil rig set up and the fans going nuts. Vancouver's got nothing on it supposedly, and boy do I believe it; Rogers Arena is a morgue.

I liked the passion by the Oilers when they tied it.

Though I think the NHL should seriously consider allowing refs to do that more. After all it was the right call...just done wrong.

Vancouver is an elite team and honestly I bet most fans just become bored.

They just want to fast forward to the playoffs.

Contrast to an Oiler team who has just sucked for years. Now it is slowly coming together and fans are getting excited.

Two totally different franchises right now.
