NZCanuck
I don't mind the celebration. Big goal for a rookie, Oilers had been screwed out of 2 others, 4 seconds left and to top it off Edmonton agreed on a deal for a new arena to keep the Oilers in Edmonton meaning the crowd would likely have been insanely hyped which the players would have fed off. sam13371337
only the kings should be angered by this. Yakupov better watch his back the next time the oil face the kings. He probably wont be a target of any cheap shots, but kings players will definitly go out of their way to "finish" their checks on him
JJC
Call me a bigot, I don't care cuz I'm just being honest: Russians bring a whole new level of douche to the game. "Ovechkin's a douche" - Maxim Talbot

Steve Carell
He's a young russian, what do you expect? Look at Ovie, he still goes crazy when he scores lol. Like you said, it came right after a goal was disallowed, so the context of the goal just made it that much more exciting. I feel good for the kid. King Heffy
Clutch goal at home. League needs more enthusiasm like this.
Markus Alexander Cody
Given the circumstances of how the refs pretty much blew a pretty bs call taking away a goal for the Oilers a minute before the goal, yeah, I think the celebration is perfect for it. I dunno if you watched, but the Oilers got screwed when they scored the tying goal only to have it taken away by a stupid goalie interference call, which btw, wasn't even penalized!! Mighty Walrus
Imagine if a canuck did that. Chaos would occur.
Primus099
kid is 19, that was his first huge goal in the NHL there was only 4 seconds left and honestly they were getting horrible calls all night especially that no goal call that just happened less than a minute before so i'm sure that had something to do with it as well the kid was excited, nothing wrong with it
Bure1994Mclean
Over the top, he knew exactly what he was doing, he was trying to go for a theo fleury type moment.

EmployeeoftheMonth
It was fine. But I'm sure you guys wouldn't like it if someone like Patrick Kane or Brad Marchand performed a celebration like that.
-DLC-
I think it was a little much...but a tying goal in the dying seconds - yeah, I guess he got a little excited and deserved to celebrate. With that, I think there's a bit of an ego there, hopefully, he'll keep it in check. He's young, so let him have his fun. I have a hard time criticizing a player who shows passion and emotion during a game.
Shift-4
I was OK with it. Normally I wouldn't condone it but after they got ripped off with a goal being wiped out it made a lot more sense to enjoy this goal.

CanucksHomer
Hypocrite oiler fans. When Burrows scored the OT goal against Chicago in the first round, game 7, 2011 and celebrated, people were complaining of the celebration and how it was over the top. This is game 3 of the regular season.......
InTheCrease
A little over the top, but the kid is excited Second NHL game Scores his second goal (a huge one which gave them the chance to win) A big FU to the refs for some of the horrible officiating. Ovie was similar to that when he first got into the league and toned down, I am sure Nail will as well.
