We also matched the very physical Ducks with 29 hits total - Edler with 5 hits for a team high.

Everytime I see Lu tweet something like that it makes me sad he likely won't be on our team this time next year.

:( i really want him to win a cup hope he stays for this year atleast

Such a satisfying win tonight! Many compliments to go around for the team. Really glad Raymond, Kassian and Ballard are doing well, in light of all the flack they've been getting. The fights were the icing on the cake. Nice that we got the Ducks back for the mess made on our opening night. So many great things tonight, I can't even begin to list it all. Good job, boys! This is the way we like to see you play.

If there isn't a good enough offer, then keep him. But I think Schneids could carry us through the playoffs. I don't see him giving up the net honestly.

Went to the Edmonton game, and prior to the game I got a Hamhuis jersey instead of Kassian.

Love Hammer but I am starting to regret the move with the way Kassian has been playing :(

Beautiful game. A huge team effort that was pretty airtight. The Sedins looked confident and focused, Kassian is becoming the power forward right in front of our eyes, Burrows sticks up for Edler, Bieksa sticks up for Hamhuis, Ballard sticks up for Edler.

Raymond and Schroeder? Fantastic.

Schneider played awesome.

This is what I have been waiting for. A team effort. It was amazing. And Kesler and Booth are out? What would the score have been if they were in?

Poor Corey Perry. What a chucklehead.

Vintage Sedinery!!!!

Edler pissing Corey Perry off no end.

Kassian providing a big body and some sandpaper to draw the nasties away from the Sedins.

Schneider back in form.

Revenge is a dish best served with roast duck. Go Canucks Go!

Elliott Pap@ElliottPap

Canuck rookie Jordan Schroeder's 2nd game: One assist, plus-1, two shots, 11-for-19 on draw, 14:26 of ice. #shortstuffisgoodstuff

I don't see anyway they send this guy down once we are healthy, has been nothing but impressive in his 1st 2 games and he will only get better the more comfortable & and adjusted (to the league) he gets.

So happy and impressed by my Canucks tonight. Played absolutely amazing in every aspect of the game. Was it just me, or did anyone feel flashes of the 2010-2011 Canucks? It was just like they came back to life overnight. So glad to see a full team effort.

Keep it up boys, and lets spoil the Sharks little streak.

Agreed Smash Kass, Schreds looks like he belongs.

GREAT to see Patti get into a swinging tilt-we know he can trust his repaired shoulder. I like that bloke!

Overall beauty team-effort; rollin' a strong 4 lines/3 pair will serve them well this year. Onwards to the SJ game-should be a good one.

In all honesty I think if this team can play to there absolute best like we did that year, this team might just infact be better.

I think our defense is better because of the chemistry and because Ballard is actually playing like he should have, then our offensive depth is far better, we have guys like Raymond, Kassian and Schroeder all stepping up and playing great, we didn't have that in 10/11.

If we continue to play well, and Kes and Booth can step in and play well, and we peak at the right time, I really like our chances.

I love how Raymond and Kassian were probably the two players with the most doubters coming into the season and now they're the two leading goal scorers, so stoked to see them do well!

Also 5 or 6 seasons from now could be a very exciting time, Kassian and Schroeder will be 27 and Jensen will be 25. That line could have crazy potential, it has all the elements to be the west coast express V2.

Volpatti and Schroeder is slowly locking their spots on this team.

Volpatti has impressed me since game 1 and his hard work paid off tonight, that fight was great.

Schroeder 2 games in and is already making a small impact on the team. Its no coincidence that Raymond's play has gotten better since he arrived.

Kassian keeps the streak going, was hoping he go with Allen but a goal is good enough. ^_^

I felt really happy for CS to get the win. i wanted him to get the shutout so bad, so all the critics outside of Vancouver who were doubting CS's ability as a #1 goaltender would shutup.

Lets sweep California and come back to Vancouver 4-1-1 ^_^

Interesting question brought up on Team 1040 tonight: If Kes and Booth had started the season healthy, do you think either of them would have 3 goals by this point? Seems so weird that Kassian and Raymond both do. Awesome for them though, and awesome for the team. :)

ok.

which one of you homers was ref'n tonight

After how many bad calls the Canucks have faced in the past, I'll take a few freebies. I don't expect the refs to call a game this tilted towards us very often.

Anyone know what Ballard said to Perry after their scrum?...it was on the broadcast and someone probably transcribed it in the GDT but I don't want to look through it

Canucks Army recap: http://canucksarmy.c...ta-january-25th

- Jordan Schroeder recorded his first NHL point when Mason Raymond took a nice cross ice feed from the rookie and squeezed it through Jonas Hiller late in the third period. Production is cool and all, but far more valuable was Schroeder's ability to eat up ice-time without being a defensive liability and to win face-offs in the absence of faceoff aces Ryan Kesler and Manny Malhotra. Schroeder won 58% of his face-offs, skated legitimate third line minutes for the second straight game and contributed on two Canucks scoring chances, so all in all a fine second outing for the rookie.

I didn't realize Schroeder was playing 'legitimate' mins. I thought, since the coach is AV, that he'd be playing highly sheltered mins until be was accustomed to the NHL. Apparently, that's not the case. So I am even more impressed with him, that's not easy to do - at all. He took the 2nd most face offs on the team tonight. Just as a comparison, Hodgson played highly sheltered mins in his first 20+ games w/ Van, and Malhotra took most his faceoffs. So for Schroeder to get the type of mins he's getting, AV must really like him. Which brings up the question, if this continues when Kes gets back - where does he fit in the lineup?
