Laich imo is too much cap hit for a third line center, which is what he'd be in a month - for that reason I don't see him as a good fit. I disagree with the other posters though - imo Alzner doesn't have more value than Luongo, particularly to a team like Washington gambling on two youngsters like the Leafs are. Luongo's value is going to skyrocket in the next few days/weeks. For teams like Washington. Kuznetsov/Forsberg would be my goal if I was MG.
