Barring any injuries...

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Raymond-Schroeder-Kassian
Higgins-Kesler-Booth
Volpatti/Weise-Lappy-Hansen

Dammmmnnn.. Looking good.. Maybe we should keep Luongo for the entire year and take another shot at the Stanley Cup.. :towel: .. We don't really have room for whoever we pick up in the Luongo trade so might as well keep him as insurance in goal..

I like keeping the Sedins with Burrows and putting Kassian with Raymond and Schroeder to give them some size.. With Kesler back with the AMEX line it relives some pressure. Also it gives the Canucks 3 scoring lines which brings them back to when Hodgson was still with the team.. It gives the team back it's offensive personality.

Raymond-Schroeder-Hansen

If Raymond and Kassian are still playing well by that time, I think it'll look something like this.

Sedin-Sedin-Kassian
Raymond-Kesler-Burrows
Higgins-Schroeder-Booth
Volpatti/Malhotra/Weise-Lapierre-Hansen

AV's definitely not easing Kesler in on the 3rd line with Schroeder on the 2nd line, but I can see him putting Booth in the bottom 6 until he finds his wheels (or maybe he stays there). In which case,

Sedin-Sedin-Kassian
Burrows-Kesler-Booth
Raymond-Schroeder-Hansen
Higgins-Lapierre-Volpatti/Malhotra/Weise

That 3rd line seems criminally undersized though, but very fast and defensively aware.

It's not necessarily the 3rd line.. Just lines.. It could be the 2nd line for all I care..

lol @ Kesler on the third line

LOL @ that being reality

he hasnt play in how long and you expect him to just walk into the season on the second line

third line for kes till he gets up to game speed

get those good 2 way forward habits going before he thinks hes a sniper again

if av puts him on the second or even gives him second line minutes i will be surprised

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Raymond-Schroeder-Kassian
Higgins-Kesler-Booth
Volpatti/Weise-Lappy-Hansen

This would be our line-up if a massive pandemic of acute Alzheimer's swept the nation and we were all effected, and at the same time the Illuminati used the panic and confusion of the Alzheimer's pandemic to wipe all records of our team's and players stats from every team's database, NHL headquarters, every sports journalism office and the entire internet.

Edited to add:

Then the Canucks coaching staff would have to go in for collective lobotomies and MG would need to be blackmailed with heavy pressure to hire Sportjunky as head coach.

Edited to add x2:

And then the federal and provincial governments would have to collude in creating a zone of exclusion around the lower mainland that would prevent all hockey analysis/commentary from being broadcast. They'd also have to hire and provide training to an army of thought police to canvas the greater Vancouver area (at a 2 to 1 ratio of enforcer to citizen) to keep common sense from invading the Canuck inner circle.

If Raymond continues to play good, slap him on the second with Kes & Kass or Buorrows because hes deserved it, and send Booth to the third.

Personally I would like to see:
Sedin-Sedin-Kassian
Higgins-Kesler-Burrows
Raymond- Schroeder-Booth
Weise-Lapierre-Hansen

This way we have 2 scoring lines in the sedins and schroeder. Energy line up in Lapierre. Kesler's line could be a checking/scoring line. So by doing this, we have depth and skill spread out instead of loading up two lines. Each line has chemistry which is key. Plus Booth would finally have a centre that can pass and set him up.

What do you guys think of a line of

Raymond-Kesler-Schroeder?

That would be an insanely fast line that can create a lot of offense and very responsible defensively, it just kind of screws up the other lines...

I personally cannot wait for Kesler and Burr to be on the same line permanently.

Raymond - Schroeder - ??? (the two have shown some chemistry)
??? - Lapierre - Hansen

So...

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian
Burrows - Kesler - Booth

Uhh remember raymonds 25-30 goal season? that was with Kesler..... because he flaked out one year and had an injury the other year doesn't mean they don't have chemistry.
Raymond - Kesler - Booth
Burrows - Schroeder - Hansen
Malhotra - Lappiere - Higgins

Kesler on the 3rd line....

Once Kesler and Booth are back, and if Raymond, Kassian and Schroeder are all performing, I'd go with this:

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian
Higgins - Kesler - Booth
Raymond - Schroeder - Burrows
_______ - Lapierre - Hansen
Malhotra/Volpatti/Weise/Ebbet

If Kassian is still playing well with the Sedins, I'd leave them. No reason to change. Reunite the AMEX line. Raymond and Schroeder have some chemistry and Burrows is more than capable of producing offense. Lapierre and Hansen on the 4th line is a luxury. Only question is who to put on the left side. Manny is the obvious choice for faceoff ability, but I like the grit Volpatti or Weise could bring.

...That's a pretty good place for him to start. Then as in the past he wont be able to screw up Raymonds re-vitalised game.

The problem is that these lineups you guys are suggesting are just to soft, aside from Kassian.

I think

Sedin-Sedin- Kassian ( if he still plays well)
Raymond- Schroeder- Kesler
Higgins-Burrows- Booth
Lapiere-Malhotra-Hasen

Volpatti, Weise

Booth can slot into the second, and move around same with burrows. It's not exactly line 1, 2, 3, 4 but it's more of of line 1-1-2-4

I think whats really exciting is no matter how you juggle those top 3 lines there is a mix of SPEED, talent, and grit ..Something I feel we were missing the last few years .. wit the the sedins and kassian .. burrows , kessler and booth .... raymond shroeder and higgens [hansen ] .. this team is deep and hard to stop .. and that not even adding whatever we may get in the lu deal ... If they actually stay consistent with the reffing this is a tough team to beat in a 7 game series .. Speed kills ..

this is about how it shakes down in my mind too.
the big variable here being raymond. if he doesn't continue to produce then he won't be in that spot as hansen isn't really a fourth liner. that and what they decide to do with schroeder.
