PGT Sharks-Canucks

Canucks were just not sharp at all this game.

The Canucks HAVE to start getting shots from the point on net when on the PP. They used to be quite successful on the PP when having a forward screen in front while tipping home a shot from the point. They used to score that way more often than not. So far this season their PP has been very passive. Tonights PPs were pathetic.

Once again guys like Weise, Tanev and Raymond are our best players. Some of my favorite guys, but we can't win when our stars don't show up.

Sedins need to start Art Rossin it up.

Edler needs to not be such a bone head.

Garrison needs to hit the damn net.

Hamhuis needs to not suck all the time.

This game shows that the Canucks are some ways off from being a contender in the West. Fortunately, they play in one of the weakest divisions in the league. Sharks dominated in all areas of the game, it wasn't close.

Lets be honest here, this team has no hope in the playoffs the way it is now, even with Kesler and Booth returning.

i hope AV wakes up and dresses vandy for games like this.....Clowe owned us and Kass isnt ready, and shouldnt have to fight guys every other night especially the likes of Clowe, one of the leagues toughest.

dressing ebbet over Vandy for tonights game and others like it, is just straight up poor judgement.....hard to feel unintimidated looking down the bench and only seeing Hansen, raymond, schroeder, burr, ebbet, hamhuis, tanev etc.

Im getting a little bit concerned about the Sedins... still too early to draw any conclusions but they seem to be taking much much longer to get up to speed and until tonight were really only effective on the PP. Oh and same old problems with this team, not much beyond the top line. Even with Kesler and Booth i wouldn't be satisfyied.

Stay in the hunt and warm up as we get close, good for SJ to peak now lol...they're not going to hold up this pace for 5 months!

Peaking a bit to early there SJ...lol

Flat game for the boys, defense needs to start just playing a simple, smart game and the talent will come through rather than trying to force. Forwards need to start playing with some emotion, providing puck support and moving their legs on the pp.

When you see teams pressuring other teams as hard as opponents have been on the nucks it means one thing. They are reading poor puck support, ie you pressure the guy with the puck with 2 guys, and because others aren't supporting or moving their legs, the puck carrier doesn't have an outlet. Result, turnovers or dumps...its pretty obvious our heads aren't in it...and teams have noticed.

That is coaching, and AV and his staff better start getting these guys mentally ready because right now, we have seen 5 games, all of which the nucks have not come out mentally prepared.

wow so many people hitting the panic button its pathetic talking about tanking no hope for making the playoffs just sad have some faith were 2-2-1 same with the wild with those big free agent signings and a healthy team while were missing 2 top 6 forwards last year we were 5-5-1 pretty much the same record made the playoffs and was 1st in the league so until were actually doing ok all things considered
