Merci
Do people even watch the games, do you even watch effort and execution? Everyone is playing great, and trying hard, the system works and the execution isn't there because we're tired and it's 7 games in. When your forward depth consists of a bottom 6 of Ebbett, Schroeder, Weise, Volpatti, Lapierre, and Raymond how do you expect to dominantly win games? You really think that bottom 6 is going to make us dominate teams like La and SJ? Canucks fans are babies The boys are tired and are going to need to play at 200% to even resemble what we were last year without Kesler and Booth. To blame the system when we basically have a 1st line with a rookie and 3 3rd lines what do you expect?
MrsCanuck
Getting blown out in big games, as we have in MANY games in the playoffs, is the reason I blame the coaching staff. Not solely because of tonight.

DeNiro
Tired at 7 games in? Yikes. If they're tired already, they're going to have a tough time winning the cup. Tonight came down to strategy. It's pretty obvious. The more you sit back and let the other team enter your zone, the more chances they have to tie it up. That's just a given. Thinking you're safe with a 1 goal lead in the NHL is probably the dumbest thing you can do.
Guest
I agree with some of your points. We are tired, it is only six games into the season, and we're missing 2/3 of the second line. When our D is playing like we all know they can, and Kesler and Booth are back. We're right back the top of the NHL.
Erik Karlsson
It seems like he doesn't care about the win in the shootouts, why doesn't he put Schroeder in? Edler got two or 3 lucky shots that one season, he hasn't scored since. Edit: and yeah the strategy of sitting on the lead is retarded it never works.... bloodycanuckleheads
You're right, AV is actually a damn good coach. When we had no one who could score to save their lives - everyone on this message board slammed AV for being a defense-first coach. Then, when Gillis got us some players who could score, everyone slammed him for other things, even though he completely changed his system to complement the players we had... FireGillis
Can't believe there are still AV defenders. Boggles my mind. He's a horrible coach and needs to be fired ASAP!

RyanKeslord17
Kesler and Booth are out wah wah wah wah wah. FIGURE IT OUT. LA and SJ both didn't play extraordinarily well, but both managed to beat us. Not because they had the better team, but because they were the more ready and prepared team. Frankchise
Even if we have Kesler and Booth back in top 6 , we would still be doing dump and chase with a one goal lead in the third , sometimes you just need a change of things
