According to News1130sports twitter account Brendan Morrison is healthy and ready to go. Do we give him a chance he did have chemistry with Schroeder a couple years ago at training camp.

No thanks. I like BMO, but Shroeder is better suited.

Center depth. We need BMO. Sign him short term, guy is versatile and loves it here. With Kesler out, he's a safe bet to jump on the second line if we really need him to, and he can be great on the third. Guy deserves to retire a Canuck.

Yeah, if he could be had for cheap I'd be happy with the signing...

I get nostalgic thinking of B-Mo, and out of that would love to see him in a Nucks jersey again.

However, after his run with Chitown I don't see how he would automatically earn a roster spot over anyone on the Canucks, incl. Ebbett..

Nope, we don't pick him up. We continue to give Schroeder a chance and Kesler will be back soon enough.

Ya sign him to a league minimum which when prorated should only come in at 300K (ish), which would be the lowest cap hit in the league. Have him mentor Schroeder a little bit... BMO's experience centering the WCE could really help Schroeder learn the little tricks of playing with different players... Like a sniper or a big power forward.

You mean when Morrison wasn't offered anything but the Canucks organization went first to the media and claimed he wanted too much money?

We gave him a chance.

Shortly after he gave us a the middle finger. Not sure wtf is his problem, as it was a tryout contract. Loser. No f in way.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

Morrison outplayed almost everyone in the training camp and got released.

AV mishandled BMO for sure - you can't deny that.

I don't get the B-Mo hate. He wasn't offered a contract by the Canucks so he signed with a team that would let him play.

Morrison vs. Ebbett.

Hard one, but I have my doubts that B-Mo will be back as a Canuck, or even in the NHL.

Better than Ebbett. Schroeder and/or Kesler can play wing, as well. Although, there's already Malhotra. I would DEFINITELY rather have Morrisson as the 13th guy than Ebbett, though.

He would not be a good fit in Vancouver and I am sure after his last attempt to make the team both sides will look elsewhere.

A few teams he could be a good fit with I think are Buffalo, Tampa Bay, Dallas, New Jersey.

truth is with the way he played we totally should've given him a deal over Schaeffer. But, given how all that turned out, I don't see any way we bring him back. In a shortened season i would still prefer him over ebbett though.
