yogolol
Cory continues to pay for his one bad start. The first game after a long layoff. This could be a disaster. Not for the upcoming game. But for the club in general. I have confidence in Lu winning the Chicago game, but what does this do to Cory's confidence and his relationship with the Canucks? Is that really worth it? Its not as if Cory wouldn't have the same chance to win in Chicago, this is all on AV and his love of his pets. I really really hope this is all about showcasing Lu and NOT some kind of reconsideration of who Gillis is going to trade.

N4ZZY
Exactly. This could damage relationship with the Canucks organization. Either this. Or AV is SO dumb, that maybe he's the one to go. What happens if Lu melts down tomorrow against the Hawks? Hopefully, Cory will be ready. He's the future's goaltender. Even AV has got to see that. And what the heck is Weise still doing up on the second line? Has he even scored a goal while he's been there?

UFCanuck
It doesn't matter who's in net, we have a great chance to win with either tender.

Captain Aerosex
I'm happy with either goalie. It's likely that neither's getting traded this season, so the one who's playing the best deserves games. That being said, I'd have preferred to see Cory get more of a chance because it seems like AV jumped back to Luongo pretty quickly. But there's plenty of season for him to wrestle the job back, and you know he'll be determined to do so. I think we may see better goaltending this season than 2011. DownUndaCanuck
This game will be huge. If Luongo wins it, he's our starter again no questions asked, but that's a big "if". Chicago are still yet to lose in regulation and are owning just about every stat in the league right now. Big game for a big-game goalie.

Master Mind
I didn't think some CDCers could be this insane Lu is coming off a shutout and has played better overall in his 3 games than Cory did in his games. Some of you are suggesting that we should bench players for playing well... what great logic This is AV using his goalies properly now, by playing the hotter hand. Give it a rest with the absurd controversy/distraction garbage
