He needs to get up to game form and how else better then to be skating with your teammates, this is all this means. He will continue to skate with the team and see how he feels, it won't be atleast 2 weeks before any real time line for his return to the ice in game. As long as he doesn't have any set backs in the 2 weeks of practicing don't be surprised to see him in the lineup that following week, any type of set back even pain will prolong his return. We will really find out in a couple weeks.

two of Schroeder, Weise, Volpatti, Ebbett, Barker, Alberts will need to be sent down when Booth and Kesler get back, curious if we send 1 or 2 down that can get claimed off waivers. I personally want Schroeder to stay up, but not at the risk of losing Volpatti..

I just hope they are not letting Kesler REALLY tell them when he is ready to play. He has come back too soon before because of his competitive nature and it has hurt the team. I really hope they are making 100% sure this time......

Ebbett and Barker through waivers. Keep Schroeder up.

Kes back with the team in any way, shape or form is all good.

Hope he and Booth come back together at the same time and Kass is put on that line so the Sedins can get out of their Burr-less funk.

For all the childhood / adolescent jocks out there.............you remember that guy you've played with back in your younger days, the guy who had all the skill in the world, was in great shape and seeming could do anything he wanted to, except....................pass and play a team game.

Your team was just as good with him as without him, right?

Welcome back Kess!

Great news...!!...Obviously,Kesler was not 100% last season, and overcompensated by 'not utilizing his teammates'..Nobody hates to lose more than Kesler. With him healthy in our lineup,he will make life extremely miserable for the opposition.

Kesler can completely dominate when motivated (against Nashville 2011 playoffs)..Unfortunately,I don't think he'll have a very long career due to his reckless style of play.

I didn't trully notice the passion Kes brings to the team until this season in his absence.

The Hawks game was missing something.

It may be as they have to play a little different game with him because he is not willing to go dig up pucks for them like burrows did.
