vcr1970
Let's say Iginla gets traded for prospects and picks.............. If he goes to the Penguins, I'd say he has about a 9 / 10 chance of winning. If he goes to the Canucks I'd say he has about a 7 / 10 chance of winning. Would you say those odds are fair? nowhereman
I wouldn't mind seeing Sid hand the cup off to Iginla, reminiscient of Burnaby Joe passing it of Raymond Bourque.
nowhereman
That Top 6 is nothing to be scared about. Sure, Crosby and Malkin are top 5 players in the NHL but if they're shut down for a whole series, where will the scoring come from? Teams from the East in my eyes that can shut down not only Crosby, but Malkin at the same time in an entire seven game series are the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers. Otherwise, the Pens would just steamroll over anyone who dares to come in their path.
crazyforhockey
I think Iginla would fill the net playing with the sedins...... headline Iginla thinks he would fill the net playing with the sedins.........lol
hfbat
Iginla with the Sedins would be deadly. Or teamed with Kesler and Burrows while leaving Kassian on 1st line. Either way, Canucks are a team built to win now so I'd trade picks for Iginla if there was a way to get him.

marleau_12
Having 3 50-goal scorers on the ice at the same time would be scary for any team to face in the dying seconds of a game. Just imagine their powerplay unit: Iginla - Crosby - Malkin Letang - Neal That is an All-Star team. The Rangers better pray this is all a joke of a rumour. SterlingArcher
Although I agree with the ppl Iggy padded his olympic stats against weak teams. Don't forget the clutch plays he made in gold medal games in Vancouver and Salt Lake. I understand Iginla isn't the same player he used to be. He's not as physical, seems a bit slower at the start of this season, but he's notorious for slow starts. Still manages to pot 30 goals on the regular (very unlikely this season). What bugs me about his play now is he just waits for the pass more than just trying to create the play. I hate when he shoots high and wide, seems like he does it way to often. vcr1970
Depends which version of Marc-Andre Fleury shows up in the playoffs. If it's the 2012 version, I would peg the odds closer to 0 / 1000 chance of winning.
