My God are Cannata's stats ever solid at the AHL level for a raw rookie.

Desbiens just wrapped up his Gordie Howe hat trick with a fight to end the 2nd period.

I know! With Lack and Honzik also on the depth chart I just love this organization's goalie depth.

________________________________________________________________________

Didn't listen to the 3rd period as I was obviously watching the Canucks game but it appears as if it was a crazy 3rd period. After outshooting Milwaukee through the first 2 periods, Milwaukee then outshot the Wolves 23-6 in the 3rd and Cannata stopped 22 of those 23 shots. He stopped 40 of 42 shots overall. I can't fathom how he wasn't one of the stars tonight. Oh well, this was a great effort by the Wolves. They had their best period of the year in 1st in which they scored 4 of their goals and Cannata was very strong for them the rest of the way.
