I don't like the guy but did you not see the slash he took to the calf.

Yeah saw it but what exactly is the injury? Didn't know a slash in the calf would cause this degree of hurt. Or perhaps he is just a puss.

When someone decides to crap on someone for a 'mistake' that isn't a mistake at all, then it will be pointed out that they are in the wrong. LMAO at you telling me to get it 'through my head'.....I've been here almost 10 years, sunshine........ seen it all.

Hope this was our turning point game and it shuts up the Luo haters for awhile! ::D

you wanna keep up the schneider vs luongo like the rest of the people on here i will join in

there is no goalie controversy other than the one started by the media and kept going by people like you thinking we have to pick one goalie right now

gillis has stated he will keep both goalies til the off season there is no reason to trade luongo unless we can get a capable back up and a piece that helps us win the cup

next luongo is aging and will maybe have another couple of years left in him schneider is younger and hitting his prime and will be the goalie going forward in the future its time hand the team over to him

finally doesn't mean luongo can't be the number 1 and have schneider play back up again tim thomas and tukka rask did it and it worked out for rask

Huh?

What this has to do with my post is beyond me."People like me"???? I don't believe I've ever said anything to further the so-called 'goalie controversy' other than to say it has been completely created and propagated by sports media who have nothing better to do with their time. Thank you.

I can't call those who crap unwarrantedly all over Luo, day in and day out, "Luo haters" without you putting words in my mouth or making assumptions? Good to know.

Wow, after reading that write up from Chicago I suddenly don't feel we have the worst hockey journalists in the league. Not saying ours are good, but that article was homeriffic beyond scope.

You would still be incorrect. It makes one appear foolish and lacking in credibility when they take someone to task for a spelling/word usage error when in fact there is no error at all.

Happy for this win tonight.......Luo played lights out for us! ::D

Yeah, you know credibility means everything when it comes to spelling! God BB you've outdone yourself this time..rly you need a round of applause from all of the lower mainland..you must be recognized..

Luongo, by the way, is showing who the real #1 is. Luo > Schneider all day.

Even if were offered a 280 pound, 6'8, 70 point per season, best fighter in the NHL type of player for Luongo?

That's an offer that I can't refuse....What is the name of that big player u mentioned?

As great as Lu played, it bothers me that he was matched by Crawford. We should be able to light that fool up all day.

Kane's BS in overtime was embarrassing, and the worst part was that it worked. That's "Come on man!" level stuff. Great win given our lineup and it's great to see Lou playing so well.

Our expensive defence earned their money tonight. Passes are a whole lot better and the change of the defensive pairings really helped.

Great game boys, and wow! Kassian with the beautiful feed, damn am I excited to see him grow as a Canuck. Lou & Schneids, keep em' both!

Is it just me, or were the Hawks pure class in the post-game interviews? Kane COMPLIMENTS both the team & Lou, & Quenny's not in a twist on Edler's errant stick??!! Man, I must be dreamin', never thought I'd see the day.

Next up, Timmy T pumps more than just Bobby's tires...

Remember, it was Kane who stood up for Luongo after Chicago eliminated him in 2010.

Really? What did he say?

I'll come out of the closet now guys. I've secretly always liked the Hawks, and Kane and Hossa are some of my favorite players in the league, but all bets with the Hawks when they play the Canucks :P

Since we're being classy I think now would be a good time to wish Kaner a speedy recovery from that violent high stick he took in OT. Poor guy nearly lost his head... or at least the referee seemed to think so.

Crawford's actually a pretty good goaltender, give the guy some credit. I'd take Lou or Schneids any day, but Crawford is no slouch.

......I believe to do that we need goal scoring forwards.Tell me again why we couldn't score enough goals the last 2 playoffs.
So............who was going to light that fool up for even part of the day ?

Good game all around, a couple of sloppy points, particularly in the second and some unnecessary penalties but well done.
