Someone Rear Ended me this morning, need a good shop....

30 posts in this topic

Long story short, some 17 year old N driver rear ended me. I need a new rear bumper. I'm looking for a good shop that knows their stuff. I drive a 2009 g37 sedan. I'm thinking of going with a kit instead of OEM. looking for a good place that might be able to help me out. Thanks.

ICBC isn't going to pay for aftermarket parts strictly OEM.

Go with Craftsmen collision.

They do pay for it, if you pay the difference...

I'm anywhere in GVA..

edit, at least that was what happened to me before, mind you that was 10 years ago

Lots of shops do a crappy job and you may not know for years when the clear coat starts to peel and the paint no longer matches.

Talk to a Nissan dealer and have them recommend one.

Did you at least write down his license plate and driver's license and all that? I want him to get points deducted on his driver's license so we don't see more of those drivers

You still report it to ICBC...the option is up to you and him whether it goes against his insurance or is paid directly. But at least it will be on record.
