[Proposal] Van - Ana ( At the trade deadline )

Recommended Posts

This is what I think would be a fair trade at the trade deadline:

To Anaheim: 1st round pick 2013 + Jensen + Raymond + Sauve

To Vancouver: Perry + 2nd round pick 2013

To sorta compare, when the Thrashers traded Kovalchuck (impending free agent) they traded:

Kovalchuck + Salmela + 2nd

for

Bergfors + Oduya + Cormier + 1st + 2nd

At the time of the trade, Kovy had 31 goals and 27 assists for 58 points in 49 games and his cap hit was 6.3.

Corey perry is off to a slow start this season with 1 goal and 3 assists for 4 points in 6 games and his cap hit is 5.3.

I'm not even sure if I would do the trade just because Jensen has so much potential and he's ripping it up in the SEL but...it's Corey Perry...

Difference of 2,575,000 in salary coming in so I don't think it would be much of a problem for Gillis to get us under the cap.

Lineup would be:

Sedin - Sedin - Perry

Booth - Kesler - Burr

Higgins - Schroeder - Kassian

Voplatti - Lappy - Weise/Malhotra

What do you guys think? Be nice..

Anaheim says no because we're giving them a late first pick, a 2nd liner at best, a inconsistent winger that only has speed, and an okay defenseman who had an injury which set back his development a whole year.

For one of their franchise players who has a Olympic gold, Maurice Richard, Hart, and selected to 4 all star games. And their second round pick.

Yeah while we're at it why don't we trade Ballard + a 2nd for Phil Kessel
