If the football hits the camera on the goal post and bounces back, does the Field Goal count?

While looking at pics of the darkened Superdome during the power failure, I noticed the camera mounted on the goalpost, behind the crossbar.  So if on a Field Goal kick the ball hits the camera and bounces back into field of play, does the Field Goal count?  I mean technically the camera is not in the field of play, would it not be a dead ball?

It would count. The ball has already gone through the uprights.
