Raffi Torres's Smirk
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=415226 The New York Rangers have traded veteran forward Mike Rupp to the Minnesota Wild for forwards Darroll Powe and Nick Palmieri. The 33-year-old Rupp has no goals in eight games this season. In 565 career regular season games, he has 53 goals and 41 assists.

Dion Phaneuf
Minnesota clearly wants to get bigger. Zenon Konopka and Mike Rupp
Jägermeister
I guess it adds some depth to the Rangers forward group, but I'm not a fan of the trade from their standpoint. Rupp is one of the leagues best 4th line energy players, and is a force to be reckoned with physically.

Edlerberry
Rupp is the real deal. I'd love him on our 4th line.
Pears
Didn't see Rupp being traded at all tbh. He's a huge fourth liner. I guess Halpern will take over 4th line center duties then?

"Bull" Horvat
powe will be on 3rd line with boyle, pretty sure they brought powe in because he's a better skater than rupp & he was 2nd in league with block shots as a forward (91) behind laich (92) palmieri could go either way I think this was a good trade for both sides. nyr has asham boyle nash and their ahl guy that just got called up for "toughness"

Coconuts
Sure they are. Just skate around their slow guys. If they already had Konopka, then Rupp is redundant. But whatever. They always treat their home games against us like 'do or die' while we simply don't care. Rupp will make little difference in that regard. riffraff
Surprised to see the rags trade away size and toughness. Not to concerned about facing Rupp regularly. He's more of a policeman type - doesn't go looking for trouble. He's a solid fourth liner.
