That was the slowest start ever...didn't really start playing until the 3rd period.

I was whining about the lack of Sedinery...well...they made me eat crow as that was a perfect setup in OT. Congrats Tanev!

I thought Ballard played a strong game - and the couple of times he made a bad play - well at least he didn't give up and he got back in the play...

That was 2 important points in this short season.

Queue the "who starts in net Thursday discussion".

Go Canucks GO!

Didn`t start playing until the 3rd? We outshot them like 15 to 3 in the second period, I can`t imagine what would have happened if they were playing in the 2nd haha. But I agree with you, expecially the 2nd half of the first was quite slow but they picked it up.

Glad to see the Sedin's get on the scoreboard. Hope they can manage to man-handle Minny like they always do. Would love to see Henrik take over the franchise lead at home vs. the flames.

Luongo unbelievable AGAIN.

Sedins were pretty mediocre till the OT goal.

I can't wait to see what this team does with a healthy Kesler/Booth and Sedin's back in their groove.

I loved how Luongo stared Hall down in disgust after he barely moved to make a save. HAHA!

Wasn't aware they had penalty flags in hockey. I didn't know there was a fourth period either :)

Canucks should really invest in Kessel. I mean, the Oilers' team is getting better season by season, and we need some skilled players to offset some of these emerging stars.

Where was Eberle on the OT winner?

He was hanging out with Alexander Mogilny in the neutral zone.

* Bieksa made some brutal plays in his own zone and had trouble clearing the puck all night. I'm glad he redeemed himself on the tying goal.

* Luongo played like a boss. Loved the confidence he showed on the penalty shot. It seems like his bellyflopping days are behind him.

* Tanev - congrats on getting that 1st NHL goal!!! It was great to see how happy his teammates were for him at the end of the game!

Go Canucks go!

As an aside, Classy Chris Tanev needs to eat a sammich or two.

i'd stick with Luongo until he loses, if we put Schneider in and he gets torched (and as bad as we are in Minny that could easily happen) that's going to cause even more controversy with how good Luongo has been.

Yeah, Much safer to sit Cory on the bench all year in case he plays bad.

- Ballard, Tanev, Edler and Hammer were all good

- Bieksa was downright terrible until the goal then he played fine

- Schroeder and Hansen were our best forwards, thought Burr was dec too

- Sedins gotta better as the game went along

- Luongo played good

- Everyone else was Meh

- AV called a timeout :towel:

lol if Luongo keeps playing like this then sorry but that's probably exactly what will happen. they aren't taking the net away from Luongo the way he's going, he's won back the starting position

I think we really need to make a big splash for a top, game changing forward. Kessel and Kesler could be sick. I'll up you and say make a splash for Ovechkin. As unlikely as it sounds, i would give up Booth or Burrows or both in a package if that's what it takes to get him.

Before today, I was questioning our ability to make comebacks this season, when in years past, we were known for it! But I guess we can still pull it off, let's just hope we won't have to very often!

Living in Edmonton, a couple buddy's of mine didn't understand why I was so happy when Tanev scored.

Winning with Tanev getting the monkey off his back made it so much better.

ya because kessel is such a gamebreaker right now he is a 1 zone player at best and vancouver has no need for a player like him way to soft would crumble in playoff hockey

Whewwww. Awesome comeback. Great stop by Lu in OT. And glad to see some Sedin magic working again.

And we didn't have to go to SO for once!

Just think, we're moving closer and closer to winning in regulation

:bigblush:
