POPULAR

I like that they upped the fine from the last CBA. $2500 was pathetic.

Forking up 10 grand is the equivalent of me giving up a nickel...

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

More like you beating up someone and getting only $19.95 rather than twenty bucks.

I still don't like the Stoll hit on Fowler, but Dubinsky has his numbers in line the whole way and shouldn't have hit him like that. He does try and get around ahead of him, but it's still not a good hit. I think the fine is ok considering what he was trying to do rather than just plaster him from behind, but it's still dangerous.

well actually, dubie makes 4.2million for a full season, so in this pro-rated year its 99days/187 so he makes 2,223,529, 10000$ of that salary is .0044973 of his total salary. compare that to the canadian median average income of 35000 and you get a fine of approx $157.41. i would certainly be PO'd at my salary (just under 70K) with a fine of $157.
