Dildo Faggins
Ebbett out without question to make room for Kesler. I heard Pinizzotto is close to playing again, like two weeks or so. I'd love to see him in the line up instead of Weise or Volpatti.
UMB
Where is Ebbett even right now? Scratched? Chicago? Dead?
zombieksa
I think ebbett gets waived when Kesler returns, and then when Booth returns management and coaching staff will truly judge Schroeder's play on the ice and determine if him staying up is worth losing Volpatti/Barker
Gollumpus
I'd like them to consider keeping the guys who are likely going to be with the team going forward from this season on. Schroeder or Ebbett are the choices of who goes down. Schroeder can't be touched and there would likely be little interest in Ebbett (although he was fairly good for the Canucks a few games last season). Anyone else amongst the forwards would likely be scooped up. Assuming that the team will actually play either Schroeder or Ebbett, then Schroeder is likely the guy who will stay, provided that the team doesn't need the cap space from his contract (every extra $425,000 counts). regards, G. zombieksa
I think it's an easy choice that the Canucks would risk Barker over losing Volpatti. Or, the assumed Luongo trade will have happened and maybe some extra roster spots will have opened up. regards, G.

DeNiro
If management is making decisions based on the fear of losing a player like Ebbett, we're in trouble. He's a solid depth guy, but brings nothing that we couldn't acquire in a trade with a late pick.
Bure fan
Manny should not hold a spot over Weise. Not if they continue playing as they are, expect Weise to get better too.

Your New Coach Mr. Tippett
I could see Edmonton picking up Ebbett now that they are down to one centre. Which I wouldn't give two turds about. Until Ebbett scores on us in overtime.
