Keslers future is uncertain? It would be more likely that AV's future is shaky, and that's not the case. So you could just imagine how untrue your statement is

He can't be traded until July 1st, 2013. After that Nashville can trade him and most likely will. Otherwise they would have signed the NTC and NMC he requested. They can get at least 3-4 pieces for a player of his magnitude.

Its a trap! No one can repel trade proposals for players of THIS magnitude!
Hey CDC! Remember this!?

He is a defenseman. His primary job on the ice is to defend. He is solid in his own end, where a defenseman should be. Edler is porous in his own end and is prone to blind passes and being beaten on the rush.

Also consider that he requested an NMC and NTC from Nashville and received neither. The team is struggling due to it's lack of forward depth. He is biding his time and will seek a trade to a contender.

Basing a defenseman's worth on how many goals or assists he makes while completely ignoring his play in his own end is a tad elementary, isn't it?

Really? .. when the author of the thread cites his greatest attribute to be second hardest shot and possess' the "most dangerous shot" in the League, then he must be judged an abysmal failure this year .. Keith Aulie is the same height, and has better stats in every area .. I get so tired of folks here believing Weber is some kind of "God-like defenceman" ..

I remember him in diapers and his accuracy was crappy then too .. B)

*SNORE*

Another instance of Vancouver media attempting to make a mountain out of a molehill so it has something to talk about... Controversy sells people. At most, this is a VERY MINOR disagreement.

When I saw the title, I was worried there might be some truth to this thread.

Then I saw who it was created by, and was relieved.

Thanks for the laughs as always King of BS.
