It's just one of those things where the player returns to his home state, and the place where he played college hockey. Everything seems to fall in place.. ya know? They almost always never score their first NHL goal.. Well, Schneider doesn't count cuz he's a goalie but still... In a Canucks uniform anyways, that never happens. I mean, heck, even Hodgson didn't score when he played his first game in Toronto. Booth didn't score when he played his first game in Michigan. I just want to make this clear so that if he coincidentally does in fact score his first goal you don't go gloating and saying that you told us so and that you knew it was going to happen I hope he does tho because that would be so sweet after Tanev's goal in OT.
