And a few good games this season all of a sudden erases the fact that Cory Schneider has signed a contract with this team, quite unambiguously to be the starting goaltender for this team, and the fact that Roberto Luongo has asked to be traded and Mike Gillis is actively trying to trade him.
In all seriousness Luongo is playing as well as he always has throughout his career. Schneider is doing the same, save for a blowout in the first game of a shortened season following a lockout, in which almost every player in the league was going in to cold. Is there a significant point that has arisen over the course of these past few weeks that would change Mike Gillis' intentions?
To be as reactionary as most of you are being wouldn't serve any GM in professional sports well.
That's false, Luongo never ask for a trade, he just said he would act like a profesionnel saying he will accept to waive his no trade clause in the best interest of the team. Luongo would be happy to stay with the Canucks.
How do I know that, that's what the former NHL player and Luongo's friend, Enrico Ciccone said.
We have more than we think in common with ''Le Canadien de Montréal''
Both have logo shapped in ''C''
Canadien and Canucks mean the samething
We both hate the Boston Bruins now
Alain Vigneault coached both teams
Rogers Arena, Centre Bell, it's phones company
We are blue white and green they are blue white and red
Our #1 goalie is from Qc, their #1 goalie is from BC
But we have one important thing different and I hope it will change after the next season, we don't have Stanley Cup banner
