I have always enjoyed stats and although they can be used for analyzing players progress and abilites, I prefer to use them for useless fun. With Excel I import the players stats and then do up some basic equations and bammo, useless stats that I can compile that you probably won't hear on TSN. Maybe something Don Cherry would quote, but thats about it. I am going to keep expanding this page so check back often for new categories and sections. I keep my spreadsheets updated so as long as people get a kick out of it, I will continue to update the thread. I have a legend in the middle explaining who is in which group. If you guys have any ideas for combos, I would love to hear them and I will add the good ones! Abreviations: PIM - Penalty Minutes,+/- - Plus / Minus, GAA - Goals Against Average, SV% - Save Percentage, SO - Shut Outs, $PP - Cost Per Point, $PS - Cost Per Save $PS and $PP will get significantly smaller after every game, I could calculate the total shots faced or made against the total games played against the games remaining for the season and get a number that will be in no way accurate but mathematically sound. I instead decided to do it based on current saves and points. Hey, you never know when you are going to get hit by a bus.

Methany878
Thanks for posting, even the kategories alone would make it worth it I do have one small question, however: All Canucks combined have 36 assists. The forwards have 26 assists. How can the defensemen have 12 assists, then? 26+12=38 Am I missing something?

BCNeil
The plus/minus is interesting. At first I thought +34? This guy messed up, we are only +5 total in overall goal differential. But no, its right. Good sign that 5 on 5 is doing well. Can't wait till the pp and pk start to play like they should.

Xur
Updated for 16/48 games. Removed Malhotra. Oddly our American born players have been struggling the most and our Canadian born players are putting up penalty minutes like there is no tomorrow. Our European born players have been racking up the assists and while our older players are producing well, our younger talent has been struggling to get on the board as of late.
