What should the lines be with Kesler back? Should he go back in his regular spot with the Sedins or should he center the second line and play Schroeder on the wing or the point which is where he played in Chicago (I think).

If we want to stack the first unit I say we go with this,

Sedin Sedin Kesler

Schroeder Edler

second unit would look something like this

Raymond Burrows Kassian

Bieksa Garrison

If we want balanced units I suggest

Sedin Sedin Kassian

Hamhuis Edler

second unit

Raymond Kesler Burrows

Schroeder Garrison

idk what do you think, I really want to see Schroeder on the point.

Yea, he's got the vision and passing abilities to control a powerplay. Plus he's actually got a wicked shot that he doesn't use nearly enough.

And the speed to get back if the other team pressures.

It could work.

Plenty of lineup threads already, I'm pretty sure it'd be ok to also discuss PP lines in any of them:
Burrows or Kassian on the top line once Kesler is back?
When Kesler is back, who goes down?
Canucks Forward Lines when Kesler and Booth comes back?
Lines when Kesler is back
Wondering about lines when Kesler & Booth return.

Powerplay lines with Kesler back?

Highly electrified and whipping through the opponents PK like an aircraft carrier's snapped arrestor cable.

Booth, Kes, Burr and Kass all standing infront of the net with Raymond shooting. Can't possibly fail.

When Booth is back if Schroeder doesnt work on the point (or we never try it) then I think the lines will be

Sedin Sedin Kesler

Booth Schroeder Raymond/burrows

i like the idea of Schroeder on the point with Edler to give the 1st unit a left and a right handed shot from the point. Kesler and the twins up front.

Higgns, Burrows, Raymond, Garrison and Bieksa on the 2nd unit

Have somebody fast on the point with Edler. Eddie couldn't catch the Zamboni on a breakaway.

I like that idea. Schroeder's speed on the point could be deadly.

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

Hansen Burrows
Tanev Hamhuis Ballard

Just try to keep the puck out of our net.

Have somebody fast on the point with Edler. Eddie couldn't catch the Zamboni on a breakaway.

^ This ... I can't believe how many times he gets beat on the PP.
