Matt's Sundin and other players who have been traded near there contract end. It's just a simple Question Danny or Henrik. From over the years and what you have seen. He would fetch a higher return than Henrik (because goals are perceived to be more valuable than assists) and we can always train someone to receive Henrik's extraordinary passes. DownUndaCanuck Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 The man said "if" so go with it, don't just shoot him down for posting an unlikely hypothetical situation. We trade Daniel, simple. The Canucks are thin at center and stacked on the wing, we have plenty of guys who can play top line minutes and Daniel only plays around 18 minutes a game anyway. If we lost Henrik this team would be in trouble unless of course we trade for a centerman. Right now we have Lapierre, Malhotra (both of whom contribute next to nothing offensively), Schroeder (still very unproven and yet to score his first NHL goal) and Kesler (who may not return to the same level he once was). So simply, we have Burrows, Raymond, Kassian, Booth, Hansen, Jensen and Higgins who can play on the wing. There's a much bigger drop-off at the center position.
