NuxFan09
It's the 2nd game of a back to back against Eastern teams today, this time against the Maple Leafs farm team, the Toronto Marlies. The Marlies have a near identical record to that of the Wolves, except they have one more win and the Wolves have one more OT loss. They were a great team last year but several of their key players, including Kadri, Frattin, Kostka, Holzer and Scrivens, are now with the Leafs so they're significantly weaker. The Wolves are in a similar situation to that of the Canucks in that they have two great goaltenders in Climie and Cannata who can give them a chance to win every game, so whether it's Climie again today or Cannata the Wolves should be the favourites. The lineup should be the same as it was in yesterday's game and it is as follows: Sweatt - Gordon - Haydar Archibald - Longpre - Rodin Miller - Kattelus - Desbiens DiDiomete - Friesen - Davies Joslin - Andersson Matheson - Connauton Vandermeer - Polasek Climie/Cannata * I wouldn't be surprised if Hunt slots back into the lineup in favour of Polasek or Vandermeer, though. NuxFan09
Quite the anthems tonight in Toronto. They've got a choir singing the anthems and they sound....good.
NuxFan09
Again, the guys calling the Wolves game are too busy lamenting about the Marlies coach's days as a Wolf that they don't even mention the starting line and defense pairing. By the time the guy starts calling the game, the Wolves are into their 2nd or even 3rd shift. Argg.
NuxFan09
Best chance of a the game so far in the early going by Haydar, who received a nice pass from Sweatt in front of the net and quickly got his shot off. Rynnas with the nice save for Toronto.

NuxFan09
Archibald nicks the cross-bar just as Friesen's penalty expires.
NuxFan09
Andersson also is NOT in the lineup. Unfortunately, it sounds like he injured his hamstring in last night's game. Brad Hunt naturally drew into the lineup in place of Andersson.
NuxFan09
Desbiens crashes the net and ends up taking a goaltender interference penalty. Marlies back to the PP.

NuxFan09
Kattelus loses the handle on a 2 on 1 rush. The amount of botched odd man rushes by the Wolves is concerning.
