Tough strech coming up for the Canucks

Sorry if this has already been discussed here, couldn't see anything. But starting March 2, the Canucks go on a 7 games in 13 days in 7 different time zone.

It is not a big deal has most time change is only 1 hour difference, but still that should takes it's toll on players.

It is a good thing we are having a good start, because after that strech their will be 22 games lefts. If we're not in good position after that stretch, it could be difficult, because guys might be tired. Yes guys should be fresh from the lockout but it's still a heavy schedule.

Sat, 2 Mar 2013 Kings Canucks 7:00 PM CBC, NHLN-US, RDS2 Tickets Sun, 3 Mar 2013 Canucks Flames 5:00 PM SNET-P Tue, 5 Mar 2013 Sharks Canucks 7:00 PM SNET-P Tickets Thu, 7 Mar 2013 Canucks Blue Jackets 4:00 PM SNET-P Sun, 10 Mar 2013 Canucks Wild 5:00 PM SNET-P Tue, 12 Mar 2013 Canucks Blue Jackets 4:00 PM SNET-P Thu, 14 Mar 2013 Predators Canucks 7:00 PM TSN, SNET-P Tickets

All this talk about travel being tough to deal with is overblown...the guys are elite athletes...they travel in business class seating which means they all fully recline into flat beds...hotels these guys stay in is 4-5 stars (Westin, Sheraton, Marriott, Hilton, Intercontinental, etc.) and with the new CBA, they get their own rooms (so if your bunkmate was a snorer, that doesn`t apply anymore)...they are well nourished...all the rinks are the same (no more nuances that the old Boston Gardens, Chicago Stadium, Montreal Forum, Maple Leaf Gardens, etc. had that gave home team advantage is gone).

Only risks to travel is they are more susceptible to catching cold and flu and it`s harder to sleep on the road than at home. The killers are back to backs...the body needs time to heal, so obviously, your not starting with a full tank of gas in the second game.

As someone has stated, same applies to most of the teams in the Western Conference, so it`s an equal playing field.

Once Kes and Booth are back, AV will roll 4 lines. Schroeder is getting better each and every game. We will have 3 scoring lines and one hell of a smart 4th line. Not much of a defensive liability anywhere in the lineup. With a grueling schedule, the boys will be alright. The top 2 lines won't be playing 22 min a night. They will get 18 min a night while the third line gets 14 and the fourth plays around 10-12 min. Can't depend on the Sedin's every game.

After watching the Schrieder line the last 4 games, I think they could be one of the best third lines in the league.
