SergioMomesso
Once Kes and Booth are back, AV will roll 4 lines. Schroeder is getting better each and every game. We will have 3 scoring lines and one hell of a smart 4th line. Not much of a defensive liability anywhere in the lineup. With a grueling schedule, the boys will be alright. The top 2 lines won't be playing 22 min a night. They will get 18 min a night while the third line gets 14 and the fourth plays around 10-12 min. Can't depend on the Sedin's every game. After watching the Schrieder line the last 4 games, I think they could be one of the best third lines in the league.
PlayStation
He meant that they go back and forth on the time zones 7 times, or are you trying to be Bertuzzi Babe and justify your existance on these threads by your excellent knowledge of the dictionary. Hunter.S-Kerouac
You don't need to leave North America to switch time zones. See this handy map:
SamJamIam
Only team on that list that are particularly good at the moment: Sharks. Nashville will probably be a decent game too. Kings are doing AWFUL right now. Flames, Minnesota and CBJ x2 aren't much to worry about. So yeah. Calm your sh!t.
marleau_12
We'll easily win 6 of the 7, if we beat the Sharks too, then great.
The Colt 45s
All this talk about travel being tough to deal with is overblown...the guys are elite athletes...they travel in business class seating which means they all fully recline into flat beds...hotels these guys stay in is 4-5 stars (Westin, Sheraton, Marriott, Hilton, Intercontinental, etc.) and with the new CBA, they get their own rooms (so if your bunkmate was a snorer, that doesn`t apply anymore)...they are well nourished...all the rinks are the same (no more nuances that the old Boston Gardens, Chicago Stadium, Montreal Forum, Maple Leaf Gardens, etc. had that gave home team advantage is gone). Only risks to travel is they are more susceptible to catching cold and flu and it`s harder to sleep on the road than at home. The killers are back to backs...the body needs time to heal, so obviously, your not starting with a full tank of gas in the second game. As someone has stated, same applies to most of the teams in the Western Conference, so it`s an equal playing field.
Guest Gumballthechewy
Hahahaha! I died. Dont under estimate the Blue Jackets! We usually play crap against the worst teams... Then again the Blue Jackets really dont have anyone.
TheYjUstMaKeYoUwooZy
The whole month of March is a nightmare... not just 7 games in 14 days. There are 16 games in the month of march, with 2 sets of back-to-back games. I admit the games might not be the toughest but that is still more than a game every second day, with no real home stands. fagin
I'm only seeing 4 time zones with nhl hockey teams in them. and only 3 dif time zones we could be playing in. so in reality we might switch time zones if correct 7 times but the swing wont be that great loose an hr gain an hr back the next day. hardly a big issue. Lame excuse for poor performance maybe but I don't see our guys making lame excuses.
RUPERTKBD
Sorry if this has already been discussed here, couldn't see anything. But starting March 2, the Canucks go on a 7 games in 13 days in 7 different time zone. It is not a big deal has most time change is only 1 hour difference, but still that should takes it's toll on players. It is a good thing we are having a good start, because after that strech their will be 22 games lefts. If we're not in good position after that stretch, it could be difficult, because guys might be tired. Yes guys should be fresh from the lockout but it's still a heavy schedule. Moonshinefe
I'm not too concerned about it. There are quite a few bottom dweller teams on there so presumably the Canucks won't have to bring their "A" game every night.
