sam13371337 Posted February 11, 2013 Share Posted February 11, 2013 personally speaking, i see the whole american border issue as none of my business. as such, i am neutral on it. but on this occasion it appears to be a case of apples and oranges past historical injustices should not be used as an excuse to break a modern country's laws into the 21st century. by that logic, all "new world" countries (including ones in south america) should not have a sovereign right over their immigration, and flow of people entering their land. because hundreds of years ago the local natives were treated extremely poorly. with that being said, i dont want to minimize the injustices the natives of the time faced. but thats a totally different issue. you will not be making things right with them by leaving your borders open and unguarded.
