It's a stupid Enviromental move that doesn't affect everyone in a negative fashion, just those that live in and cherish one of the most beautiful places in the country.

Regardless the majority of people are against risking that gorgeous area so a handful of CEO's can buy nicer penthouses in Calgary. I highly doubt the conservative government will use the same "too much public opposition" logic in this case though, Harper wouldn't stab his homies in the back like that, just the people of northern bc.
