DownUndaCanuck
Hopefully this isn't the tipping point for a Luongo trade. If Reimer can get hurt that easily, so can Schneider, and then the Canucks are finished. Goalies are going down to injury more than forwards right now and it's because of the compressed schedule with not enough preparation. Clearly age and experience means nothing - Kipper went down to injury, now a younger Reimer. Chances are if we trade Luongo, Schneider pulls a groin. He's already got a history of it (Chicago series) so I wouldn't risk our season on it.
Nuxfanabroad
Van fans should be offering a collective prayer of gratitude that Gillis has exhibited such patience. Not only has it helped our two 'tenders; it has indirectly increased pressure on rival gm's/teams.
King Heffy
I'm in favour of waiting to the deadline just in case we have injuries at key spots that a Luongo trade could help fill. Nice to have both our goalies well rested too.

Crimson-JH
From the look of the video, it look like he did pulled a groin... He nearly made an awkward split..
DSVII
Damn, and i just picked him up in my pool too...oh well, didn't start him. Wish him a speedy recovery!
SamJamIam
Nothing has changed. Unless Nonis bends over and offers himself to MG, they're no more willing to deal than they were after Burke got fired. Plus, I don't see any pieces in TO that we'd want. DeNiro
Nonis will trade for a fill-in before he overpays for Luongo. This doesn't really change much.
Coconuts
Toronto just can't catch a break.
canuckfan85
If Reimer is out 6-8 weeks then this becomes a very interesting scenario 6-8 weeks is a long time and the standings will likely be determined by then. Also coming off a lower body injury is quite difficult, and who knows what he will be like when he returns from inury if it is 6-8 weeks or longer, not sure Nonis will want to go for a fill in as his team has shown a lot of guts and they will feel let down if they are not given a chance to make the playoffs-which they could with Luongo some assets that are not currently in the lineup for TO Gardiner Reilly 1st 2nd a combination of these can get the deal done what quality fillers are out there??? Reimer has been arguably their MVP which is not saying much, and lets not forget that if they lost to Philly tonght they would have been 7-6, roughly a .500 hockey team so it is not like they were world beaters anyway. I still feel bad for them because it is good for the game to have all the original 6 and canadian teams playing well
Watermelons
MG knew this would happen...now he managed to increase the trade value of our goalies!! In all seriousness, I think that MG will keep both goalies for the rest of the season

-Vintage Canuck-
@DarrenDreger Still no official word on extent of Reimer injury. Leafs believe it isn't serious. Expected to have MRI and further testing today.
Boudrias
Obviously has weak hips! Laffers are what they are. Never seen an org that could live off a + 50 year rep from winning a CUP. At least the Canucks are wanna bees (CUP finalist 3X in 43 years) instead of has beens.
-Vintage Canuck-
@markhmasters: Update from Leafs: Reimer sustained a mild MCL knee strain; expected to be out for a minimum of one week
