Can't even begin to tell you how much Americans living in Bellingham and even Mt. Vernon and Burlington hate Canadians.

They don't look at us as a positive to their economy until told/reminded.

Trust me on this, I used to live there. Still have plenty of family there. Even ex Canadians and ppl married to Canadians make fun of us.

So the taxes in Canada/Bc are too high?

Want equal prices with the States?

It can be arranged just do the following:

get rid of universal medical care

get rid of ICBC

get rid of bc Hydro

grow Canada's population by 10 times.

Feel free to add to the list of things that need to go to become our southern neighbours.

Price gouging has been going on forever. I think companies just saw the whole GST/HST thing as a reason to sneak in raising the prices on things so people would blame it on the tax stuff or think it was because of that. The cost of milk alone is a real piss off. Maybe if it went to the farmers and stuff that made it, but it's going to the greedy ass companies selling it for way more than they have to.
