pimpcurtly
this is stupidity at a different level. Please don't group all "kids" in the same category. this is just classless, and a sports players growing up, they were taught sportsmanship. Armada
I like this kid more and more as we learn about the story. Teammates and students at his high school support him and just think the situation itself is hilarious.

Vansicle
Why are some ppl cheering for this guy. What a loser. If I'm his team mate I give him a couple of shots in the head when I get to the dressing room.
WHL rocks
Yes. Because that is much classier. Don't get me wrong, the kid is pr!ck. But shots in the head? Yeah. Anyone who does that is just as much a d-bag.
Twilight Sparkle
Hope this doesn't give Luongo any ideas lol. Not that he'd ever do something like that.
Aladeen
Its not like the kid stole a car, or killed someone. What he did was pretty funny and pretty ballsy. He protested something he didn't agree with... good for him. He has to live with the consequences of those actions but really its not a big deal... its high school hockey, he was cool enough to talk to his teamates about it so who cares. I don't think so. The whole team is working hard in trying to get a win. Every second of every shift, and this jackass grabs the puck and scores on his own net? I think you missed the part where he talked to his teamates about it. It was a HS hockey game not the gold medal game of the olympics . I for one would happily have sacrificed one game in HS to see that happen

SkeeterHansen
Did his teammates OK it before the game began? I did miss that part, its not in the OP. High school hockey or beer league hockey or the Olympics. IF he did this on my team I'd give him a punch in the head, 100%. I think you missed the OP question. Raiun
What an odd thing to do, but kind of amusing. I wonder what the coaches side of the story would be. If his teammates were cool with him doing that then chances are a lot of them don't particularly like the coach (or at least, they agree with the goalie over the coach). Armada
Going a bit off topic here regarding his 10 day suspension from school but if the kid got suspended for this then do they get suspended for fighting in highschool hockey as well? Don't think school and hockey should get involved even if its under the school name. What happens on the ice is different than off.

KING ALBERTS
theres no real story on what happened... you never know, goalies have it pretty rough sometimes. you win, its the guy who got 3 points, you lose - its the goalie. hell, you guys should know that, thats how vancouver fans have always "cheered" on the team.
