Cory made some good saves but looked to be fighting the puck all night. Big rebounds and some sloppy play. Looked like the team thought it had won once Henrik set the scoring record. From the bull disallowed goal to the soft calls against us and finally putting their refusal to call penalties for us... what crap. This is the kind of garbage that proves that hockey is the worst reffed sport in the world. No other sport gets as consistently bad reffing as the NHL..... period. Complete garbage. thema Posted February 16, 2013 Share Posted February 16, 2013 I called it; everybody is whining about the refs and Cory. Looked to me like after Hank set the record the whole team started to party a little bit and forgot we were playing a really good team. After the fights (which IMO we lost 2 of 3) the Nux lost at least 80% of the puck battles and played small. This despite the hockey gods doing us yet one more favour in injuring Dallas' hot goalie and having him replaced by a raw rookie who was lit up last game. Very lame.
