Pat Quinn guessed the wrong way in the 90s when the game moved towards the clutch and grab era. MG needs to make moves to get his top 6 bigger and stronger. Coming out of the lockout I thought the NHL might move towards a speed and skill game but that hasn't happened. St Lois, Boston, LA type of teams are the blueprint right now. Canucks are being hooked, speared and having their sticks taken away and no calls. Canucks players are being penalized for nothing but phantom BS calls. Where in your mind are the bad calls against the Blues?? Bad refereeing would affect both teams. It is not even close. If you can't see this, frankly you're just not watching.
