Smashian Kassian
Remember that goaltender interference?
cmpunk
Some people get this through your head, low hard shots on the ice, will ALWAYS give up rebounds no matter what, it's physics, it's how the world works.
Tortorella's Rant
Anyone who didn't think we were going to struggle with two of our top 6 out is naive. The fact that we are 8-3-3 is pretty impressive. All we needed to do was tread water with these guys out, and they've done much better than that. With Kesler starting to find his game already, the powerplay will get going again, and everything else will fall into place. I'm not too worried. thema
How in the hell did Backes not get a penalty after body checking luongo?
Dragonfruits
We were playing against a third string goalie and only managed 3 goals. Yes...It's not the (our) goalie's fault for giving up 2 straight goals. We had a whopping 4 shots in the second period - and it wasn't because we were on the penalty kill the whole period... Let me say that again....we had only 4 shots in 20 minutes.
D.Doughty
I agree, Luongo didn't look too good in the shootout...
roland
1 word can sum up this loss and it is turnovers. There were waaaay to many of them and it cost us the first 2 goals against us. Also, our passing was not as sharp as it should have been.
cmpunk
its not what luongo saves .... its how bad luongo looks when the goals go in... luongo had bad reads in the shootout....
Steve Carell
All in all though, my overall impression is that the Canucks have too good a team to not be successful. These games where we only play 30 minutes have to be put on the coaches.. I don't understand how you can not play an entire period (2nd)???? Anyways, the Canucks better be ready for Chicago. I don't believe they (chicago) was at their best the last time we played them, so hopefully we see a well played game by the Canucks on Tuesday. Heretic
Oh my god, shut the hell up. Do you brush out Lu's hair for him before bed too? Luongo was not good in this game. Gave up huge rebounds, soft goals. Period. Schneider should start next game. End of discussion.

Primus099
Because Luongo embellished it far too much.
Smashian Kassian
@FarhanLaljiTSN: #Luongo thought Blues 3rd goal hit Berglunds pants. He thought he should have been better on first 2 goals. Luongo not blaming anyone but himself.
DeNiro
A record better than 2-3-3 was definitely possible. Kesler is back and we're 0-1-1. And of course he has been a factor. Feces would be hitting the fan if it were not for this favorable schedule. If half our games hadn't already come against the NW.
Heretic
im talking about the shootout giving up 2 straight goals both he could of saved yet its our shooters fault for only getting 2 shots during the shootout cause they can't get a single save
VicNuckleHead09
Whao, I am going to get out of this "Bitch-fest" before things get ugly.... Meow. Seriously lighten up.... team will get better on the road.
Trebreh
I hope Kassian is saving a huge game for Tuesday, because he's been horrible these past couple of games. AV needs to have a sit down with him and tell him exactly what we need to see from him every game. Heres hoping he gets a Gordie Howe hattrick on tuesday and layout Keith or Bolland. snolan
Well, it could have been worse at least we got a point. Was JG really not put onto any of that PP time near the end? 1st unit Kes/Edler 2nd Hamhuis Bieksa? Surprised he wasn't put out there.
Dragonfruits
its like were way below .500 the way people are talking so im out were 8-3-3 were doing fine considering how the team is playing some nights
WHL rocks
Really cause those 3 looked like our best wingers tonight. We were all over them in the third. And Raymond has been having a great season. Booth will really help especially in games like this, his speed and power will be a huge asset. We don't need 250 pound guys who can barely skate to win a cup. That's not the key to playoffs success.
