Van-Det Van-Clbs (draft day trade)

Recommended Posts

To Van:

2nd round pick 2013

To Det:

Ballard

To Van:

Jenner, LAK 1st round pick, Dalton smith

To Clbs:

Schnieder, 5th round pick

Mason raymond will more than likely want more money than mg is willing to spend so he will walk.

Higgins really doesn't have a spot on this team hansen fits much better and we need to start getting younger.

Weise and Volpattie are decent fourth liners but we really need a bigger 4th line.

the problem with ballard is his cap hit/ salary he is on ok D man that is overpaid i agree he is playing well right now but i think he will be the odd D out next year... Corrado will only get better and he sureimpressed people last year won't be long till he is a canuck. I just can't see a team giving more than a second for ballard

our top 6 is pretty much set and our third line would be a fast young line that can catch people off gaurd. One of our main problems is our fourth line this would upgrade our fourth line plus give us a first round draft pick (which i believe no matter what in any goalie trade he will want a 1st included) and gives us jenner who can gel with Jensen really well

True but the fourth line shouldn't be something we have to upgrade by sacrificing Schneider.

We can always throw in some plugs or goons, it's not a huge issue.

We should be more focused on our top 9.

I feel that we could fetch a young talented prospect in exchange for Schneider.

That's what we lack on the third line considering Guance won't be ready for a couple more years.

Edit: That being said, I don't feel Schneider will be traded at all... At least not now anyway.
