Hopefully we'll be the first team to end their winning streak in regulation. Just like when we snapped Red Wings' home strreak.

On their ice too! :towel:

If the Canucks were to do something with Keith, the last game was where it should have happened. Since they didn't it's over. Frankly, if the Canucks spend a whole bunch of time chasing Keith and not focussing on playing the best team in the NHL right now, they are gong to lose big time.

I agree with Jimmy I also live in Chicago area, and most of the fans are a**es, 50% of there fan base now were not Hawk fans before 2010. I remember going to Hawks game against the canucks in 2007 and the Wolves were drawing more fans than the hawks. 4-1 Canucks. Break the streak boys!!!

i'd rather they break the streak tonight and take care of keith in their 3rd regular season game in april so they know how it feels to be missing a player to start the playoffs.

Yup, breaking the streak will feel way better than having some split-decision fight with Keith and losing 5-2

Or rather, just play a clean game? Don't see the issue in the Canucks beating them on the scoreboard instead.

According to Murph the lines will be:

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Raymond - Kesler - Hansen
Higgins - Schroeder - Kassian
Booth - Lapierre - Weise

Link

Pretty interesting. I'm guessing they're just easing Booth in on the 4th line, but that is some impressive depth either way. I'm excited to see Schroeder and Kassian together!

Tell that to Torres and Cooke.

Nothing happened last game so why would you expect something to happen tomorrow?

I am not a fan of either and they have been cheap for sure, but a direct elbow to the head vs playing on the edge/borderline clean hit are 2 separate things.

The Torres hit on Hossa was a clean hit gone wrong, it was his history and the outcome that caused the punishment. The same goes for Arron Rome on Horton in the SCF.

What pisses me off was that Rome got suspended for that IN THE SCF, while Keith with a blatant elbow to the head got 5 in the regular season?

Nothing will happen to dk and who cares. We are men. We don't hold grudges! Who even cares anymore about the hit on dank! Winning is all that matters at this level and we can't let that petty bs get in the way of that

I wouldn't doubt Booth moving up the lineup as the game goes on. Raymond, Kassian and Hansen could all move down to the fourth depending on play.

Interesting for sure. That 3rd line looks like +++potential. The 2nd line will be really fast, but who will do any passing? I doubt these will be the same by the 3rd period. Booth will move up once his legs stop burning..

High pressure game for Schneids. He's gotta have a statement game tonight. Will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure.

Go Canucks Go!!!!!!!

Not liking that Seabrook's out. Rather we beat the hawks when they're fully healthy than have an excuse as to why they lost to us. Oh well. Should be a good game.

Kesler just returned after 10 month layoff and 2 surgeries; Booth's first game back = Seabrooke out.

No excuses for either team.
