Maybe you haven't been paying attention but brygalov has been playing pretty well for philly. The flyers have a lot bigger problems than goaltending, primarily their defence

Voracek just got 4 points in 1 period yesterday, zero chance this trade happens. PHI gets bent over in a bad way. We would have to include Hansen + a 2nd or even a 1st IMO.

Luongo + Hansen + a 1st gets you almost any player in the League.

Luongo is more valuable than Voracek. Perhaps Philly wouldn't part with him in a trade for Luongo because of the discrepancies in age and contract status. But I doubt Philly would hesitate to trade Voracek for Schneider (assuming they part ways with Bryzgalov). And Luongo as of now is playing better hockey than Schneider.

I would've preferred a dialogue, but I take it you're implying that I'm out of touch with reality.

I'll say this: Luongo + Hansen + a 1st for Giroux is more sane than what you proposed. Voracek has yet to pot 20 goals in a season.

So you think Luongo, Hansen + 1st for Giroux is a sane deal. Well i have a proposal for you, make a proposal in the proposal section for this trade and see what everybody else says about it.

I know you won't because the reaction will be insane.

Um its Raymond Ballard and a 1st that can get you any player in the league duh. But that was only when they were playing poorly now that they are turning things around my guess is its Schnieder, Booth and a 1st that can get you anybody.

He is only 23, and previously played for Columbus.

Yeah, but Rick Nash also played for Columbus and his stats aren't looking any better playing in New York.

Not sure what you're alluding to here. Voracek is looking like a far better player in Philadelphia than he was in Columbus.

That's what I mean. However, I would like more depth in the lineup; bring in two or more players.

The NHL is a fixed old boys club. I've come to acceptance with that and just watch for entertainment. The 2011 & 2012 Canucks are champs in my books. Go Canucks Go!

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

Honestly, I don't know. Right after I posted it I really said to myself, "Wait, what are you trying to say here?"

I didn't care enough afterwards to delete my post. So, I lose.

He is only 23, but this is already his fifth season in the NHL.

Philly was second in the league in goals scored last year, and Voracek scored only 18 of them.

Playing what? 15-16 minutes a game on the second or third line? Canucks were probably high up there in goals too and Kes scored about 20? He must be overrated as well. Voracek can put up 50 points easy. Look at him now, he leads the team in points. He played one game with the top line and racked up 4 assists (even though it was against the Isles). He's really developing into a player in Philadelphia and will put up more than 50 points if he stays on that top line.

That philly/pitts matchup sure brings out the best in their goaltenders.
:bigblush:
I'm not that interested in Vorachek considering Jensen is gonna be better.

Give us that kid who gets only 35.8% ozone starts, faces the 3rd strongest quality of competition on the Flyers, and still has his head above water at 10th on the Flyers with a +0.9 relative corsi.

Exactly what this team needs. What's it gonna take?
