To Vancouver: R.J. Umberger(Put up 40+points almost every year.) and 1st 2013(Could turn into Drouin or MacKinnon.)

To Columbus: Roberto Luongo and Jordan Schroeder and 1st 2013.

Luongo=Umberger
Schroeder and 1st=Their first(really high pick.)

Lineup

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Booth-Kesler-Kassian/Umberger
Raymond-Umberger-Hansen
Higgins-Lappy-Weise/Volpatti

Hamhuis-Bieksa
Garisson-Edler
Ballard-Tanev
Alberts/Barker

Schneder
Lack

Umberger is big, tough, and can score which we need for the playoffs.

Columbus can trade one of their goalies..e.g. Mason/Brobovsky for a pick or top six player.

We lose this deal, and it's a risk.

How the hell would we lose this deal? Columbus gets wrecked.

The Jackets are a rebuilding team right now. They have no need for a 33 year old goalie when they already have two decent young netminders in Bob and Mason. There's also no way they would give up a lottery pick for Schroeder and a late first round pick.

Please tell us how Umberger would be ok with playing third line minutes when he is a true top six forward

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

Do you people not know this team's history with Umberger? A Canucks 1st rounder who walked to free agency by refusing to sign for anything less than rookie maximum. Add to that the reported rift between him and Kesler, who played together in Ohio, and the numerous on-ice tilts the pair have had. This guy has a big head, there is a reason he's been relegated to a sh*t team like Columbus.

Yeah, seriously. Bertuzzi & Umberger = two players with major baggage in Vancouver yet find their way into proposals all the effing time.

You honestly think Bob and Mason are decent?

Amazing deal

That is probably the fairest proposal value wise I've seen on CDC for a long time.

Uh, yeah, I do actually.

Bob did great in the 2010-2011 season for the Flyers. He's still a young goalie with a lot of potential. Mason has won a Calder and has been great for Team Canada internationally. He's also a young goalie with a tonne of potential. They have both proven themselves capable of playing in the NHL.

Loungo doesn't waive his no trade clause for Columbus so this proposal was irrelevent before it even started.

Their first(really high pick.)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this year all teams that don't make the playoffs get an equal shot at 1st overall. So we trade Schroeder and our first(probably around 24th) for what could be a 14th overall pick? No way in hell.

I think a summer deal involving Luongo should look at securing us a top 5 pick plus extras, therefor, shouldn't be done until we know the draft order.
